No one’s life should be defined by homelessness. We provide a place to call home and tailored support. Our charity shops help fund this work.

Companions, as our residents are known, are provided with rent-free
accommodation, food, clothing and a small weekly allowance. In return, they work full-time in the Community Superstore collecting,
renovating and reselling donated goods. This work supports the Community
financially and enables Companions to develop skills, discover new talents
and rebuild their self-respect. The people you meet when you visit us are the people you help.

What can £10 do?💷

Ahead of World Homeless Day this Saturday, we’re asking you to give £10 during October.

Your £10 could help provide something as simple as warm accessories as winter approaches – a hat, gloves and hand warmers to someone who needs them.

Or it could also contribute towards:
🥫 Food
🧴 Toiletries
🚌 Travel to our community
📱 Phone chargers and so much more!

These practical essentials can make a difficult day a little easier.

One small donation that can help make a difference.

“I don’t think I would be here today if it wasn’t for Emmaus. They never judge you, they just give you the chance to take it from scratch and start all over again. Now, the world’s my oyster. If I wanted to go on a course or something, I know I could. Just ‘cause I’m over 60 doesn’t mean I should be chucked on a pile, I could be the oldest kid at college!”

No one's life should be defined by homelessness.

In our caring community, we build on each individual's abilities, increasing their confidence and self-esteem. With your support, we continue to equip people with valuable skills, training and work experience to achieve their goals towards independence.
