Tamsyn made the most money she’s ever made last year. What’s the figure? Let’s say it’s not bad for a girl whose childhood pet was a second-hand rat. How did she do it? Ermm. Okay. The thing is. You’re not gonna like this...
A show about class, doing things you don’t want to do, and $$$.

This coming Friday Bristol based Emily Magpie will be appearing at the Lafrowda Club Friday May 15th. Supporting Emily will be local singer songwriter the lovely Jack Mason.
Tickets £8 from our website or on the night. Support to be arranged
https://www.lafrowdaclub.org.uk/product/emily-magpie-support-tbc-15th-may-2026/

Emily Magpie is a Bristol-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist crafting alternative pop that moves between worlds. Her 2024 album There Are Other Forms of Strength received acclaim from BBC 6 Music (Tom Ravenscroft, Nabihah Iqbal, Deb Grant, Emily Pilbeam), NPR, Crack Magazine, and Apple Music.
“Beautiful - I feel like I’m underwater when I listen to her.”
- Nabihah Iqbal, BBC 6 Music

Jack Mason is a Cornwall-based singer-songwriter making understated, folk-inspired music. Originally from the Lake District, his songs carry a sense of space and stillness, shaped by the landscapes he grew up around.

Influenced by artists like Bob Dylan, Bon Iver, and Ben Howard, his music blends classic songwriting with a modern, stripped-back feel. Built around acoustic guitar and honest lyrics, his songs are simple, reflective, and easy to sit with.

Having started out playing traditional folk, that influence still lingers, but his music leans more toward mood and feeling than tradition.

His debut release, Evergreens, came out in late 2025, offering a first glimpse into a quietly developing sound.
