So for the benefit of those in the directorate positions within RoSPA, who seem to get a little bit annoyed when I complain about the the fact that we the RoADAR Advanced Driver & Rider groups get no awards and we undertake activities representing RoSPA as volunteers, we do this service for free. But others get treated to lavish functions like this one. This is unacceptable.

For the second year in succession, several of our Tutors ventured down to Shrewsbury to undertake Rider Assessments for some of the Ducati Dragons. I can confirm that a fantastic day was had by all and the standard of riding we saw today was brilliant. Well done one and all.

Saturday saw the start of our Course 50, six more Associates have signed up for this course. The early rain had disappeared during the presentations and the sky was illuminated by the sun, by the time all emerged for the practical assessment rides, braking technics and slow riding manoeuvres. Well massive well done to all the associates, who engaged and partisipated in all the activities.

Course 50 is a milestone for our group since its formation in 2010, we now have coached well over 500 Riders in Advanced rider skills, many of whom have continued their advanced journey and become tutors. Thank you from me as group chairman to all members, associates and Tutors (past & present) for all the effort they put in..

Just a reminder to all the idiots riding round in this glorious weather without protective clothing, this is what you might look like if you are lucky enough to survive fatality, this is just the back. This chap had skin grafts on the front. Not a pretty site. It doesn't matter who' fault it is you are responsible for your own safety.

Once again Merseyside Police Bike section, Merseyside Road Safety Partnership & Millennium Motorcycles are joining together to bring you bike safety days in 2026.

Dates to be confirmed so please keep checking our social media channels for further updates. These days were very popular last year with demand outstripping supply. Everyone who attended really enjoyed the day and rode away having learned something to make them safer.
Unlike BikeSafe these days are open to all & free to attend, whether you are an experienced rider or a complete newbie. CBT to full license holders, all welcome.
