Great turnout at the 1976 Scramble Reunion social at St Stephen Community Social Club yesterday. Some of the original riders from the event were there with their bikes, we had a talk from current MX works rider and great craic was had by all, thanks to Mark, “Tapas” Ted & “Halo” James for organising the event & of course Denver for providing the room & bar for us! ✌🏼

On May 31st 1976 Camborne & Redruth held a scramble at Nancemellin. Now 49 years later were holding a reunion at St Stephen Community Social Club in celebration of all who took part be they the organisers, riders or supporters. Everyone is welcome. There will be a display of several classic scrambles / MX motorcycles and a chance to meet many of the riders from the original event in 1976. From 3pm on Sunday November 23rd 2025. Free parking & entry to the event and the fully stocked bar will be open. Should be great craic and a gas, hope to see you all there! ✌🏼

A fun evening at St Stephen’s Community Hall last night for the Triumph Social theme night with our close associates at Trelawny VMCC. A wide range of superb Triumph bikes from ancient to contemporary models on display in the spacious hall. Great craic and of course the fully stocked bar kept the conversations flowing! Thanks to Denver for facilitating the space for us! ✌🏼

Congratulations to our new VMCC Trelawny Group which was given official status by the VMCC board yesterday.

Official meetings will be held on the first Friday of the month at The Holiday Inn Express, Cornwall Services, Roche, St Austell, PL26 8UF.

The inaugural meeting is scheduled for Friday August 1st 2025 at 8pm and will feature a speaker (tbc at time of writing).

Moving forwards a variety of events and VMCC club runs will be held, the full details and calendar will be available to peruse at your convenience on the group webpage once it’s up and running.

Existing VMCC members and potential new members with an interest in vintage & classic motorcycles are all very welcome.

Our first meeting at St Steven’s Social Club, was a great success, very well attended (over 100 in fact) with a range of interesting grass track abc vintage motorcycles and vintage posters on display. Thanks to Denver for hosting us, Peter for sponsoring the room, Mark, Roger and all who displayed their fantastic machines, Roger’s posters, Graham’s sterling work collecting the entry / raffle fee on the door and of course everyone who made the effort to attend on such a wet evening! Next event is 30th May, same place, save the date y’all! ✌🏼
