St Austell foodbank Providing 3 days food and drink for those in need. All clients are referred via a voucher system.

You may not have thought it but many people living in St Austell and the surrounding area are living on the edge of poverty. When you have no financial safety net, a sudden crisis, such as bereavement, benefit delay, redundancy or illness can leave you unable to feed yourself or your family. The St Austell foodbank works to support people who find themselves in these, and many more, situations. We are part of a national network of foodbanks, giving out emergency food to people who have nowhere else to turn. Foodbanks also offer additional support to help break the cycle of poverty, putting people in touch with relevant agencies who can offer further support.

💚 We'd like to say a massive thank you to Mark, Halli and Sarah from ELIQUO HYDROK Ltd, who joined us at our latest Tesco collection for the company’s volunteering day.

Having these extra pairs of hands made such a difference, both in store handing out wish lists of our most needed items and back at the foodbank sorting donations.

Mark, Halli and Sarah were wonderful ambassadors for ELIQUO HYDROK. It’s great to see a company with such people-centred values supporting its local community. 💚

🛍️ CAN YOU HELP PLEASE? We’re running out of strong carrier bags! 🛍️

We use a large number of bags to pack food for the people we support and our supplies are low.

If you have any tucked away at home that you no longer need, we would be incredibly grateful to have them!

They can be dropped off at any of our branches during opening hours.

Sometimes, even the most simple donations can be a huge help.

Thank you 💚
