Making every moment matter can mean so many things. Sometimes it's a cup of tea and a listening ear, sometimes its moving the furniture so that our patient's shanty group can sing with them. We were delighted to welcome Kesvarner to Mount Edgcumbe Hospice recently. Music so often plays a part of how our patients are shown love by their friends and family, and it never fails to raise the spirits of everyone in the hospice.

As always, we are so grateful to the community of Cornwall, whose generosity ensures that we can continue to make every moment matter.

We did it! Cornwall Hospice now proudly hold the title for Largest Cream Tea Party! 2483 people came together to enjoy one of Cornwall’s favourite treats and beat the previous record of 1,088, held in Beijing.

Thank you so much to everyone who came, scoffed and sipped their way to this incredible result and to our generous sponsors: Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream, Prima Bakeries LTD, Tregothnan, Boddington's Preserves, Hawkins Motor Group, Co-op, Cornwall’s Rewind Radio, Fluid Branding, RRL, Harbour Hotels

He didn't need a trophy to prove it - Steve Tucker is already the Pride of Cornwall Hospice 💚

Steve was named a finalist for Regional Fundraiser of the Year at the Pride of Britain Awards, and we couldn't be prouder. By organising The Wild South West Rally and Bands for Bomber in memory of his friends Jason Bragg and Ian ‘Bomber’ Harris, he's raised almost £80,000 for the vital work of our charity, allowing us to continue to make every moment matter at our hospices. Steve's dedication is truly inspiring and we're so grateful for his support.

Watch Steve's story at the link below 👇 and join him at the Wild South West Rally this weekend!

Today Robin Moore finished his Cornish Pilgrimage - almost 200 miles across Cornwall in just over a week!

We caught up with a slightly weary Robin at our Bude shop to celebrate with him and learn what he's got planned next. Not one to rest on his laurels, Robin's next walk is this Saturday and he'd love you to join him! Simply pitch up at The Fox and Hounds Comford with your £10 registration fee (all donated to Cornwall Hospice), and Robin will take you on a ten mile circular walk to end up back at the Fox and Hounds where the Harvest Festival will be in full swing. There'll be entertainment, good food and some wonderful prizes being auctioned to fundraise for our charity. Learn more on our website, or drop a question in the comments.

Walk starts at 2pm and is estimated to finish around 6pm with entertainment and auction to follow.
