Had a fabulous day out doing one of my favourite trips with my good friend Marie. We met at the station, took the train to StIves and pottered. I adore this Trainline, it runs along the beautiful coastline from Lelant near Hayle. We got off at Carbis Bay and followed a delightful footpath into St Ives. The sunshine was glorious and it was HOT! Plenty of sun cream needed and shady stops for the dogs. Lovely to see it thronged by happy people desperate for some warmer weather. Long may it continue ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ ☀️

Do I look angry, fed up, furious and annoyed? Yes, all of them. Went to pick my Van up from the garage and took Stan for a quick walk along the road outside to find all this litter on the verge. ALL of it food packaging and all just thrown from cars being driven by people who are too damn lazy to take it home and put it in their bin. I found her peeping out of the undergrowth- took me a moment to work out what it was- a painted pebble. Does anyone know what they signify? I’ve found several around the village and on the coast path, some very childlike and some works of art. Is it a thing? What do they signify? Are you supposed to move them or leave where they are? I’d love to know. Anyone???

I was walking Stan along the Camel trail yesterday and I heard a really loud clanking sound like a steamroller. I couldn’t make out where the noise was coming from until I looked up and saw this behemoth crossing the river above me on its way home from the Royal Cornwall show. I thought it made an interesting photo! 😉💥

WET, WET. WET!! 9 incredible hardcore heroes turned out in the potting rain yesterday to clean up the streets in St Austell. I was blown away to see them arrive on a wet Saturday morning at 9am. We collected 5full bags of litter and 2 airing racks thrown in the hedge???? What a team! A big shout out to Jake from who invited us into his cafe in the Market house and warned us up with toasties and hot drinks - all on the house. So welcome and so kind. Thanks Jake 👌👍😊✅

This- just this! Last night we went up to the Visit England awards at Bristol Aerospace. We knew we were in the final three and were thrilled to bit to be the winner of the self catering category! So proud of all of our amazing team who work so hard to make our holidays really special. Still reeling 🥹😊👌 .uk
