We need your help!

A group of learners are completing a research project about St Austell Brewery and we are hoping that some of you might be able to contribute memories, photos and other objects that you might have.

We are are particularly interested in any ghost stories connected to any of the St Austell Brewery pubs, but in particular the Seven Stars Inn.

If you have any memories, photographs or old bottles you would like to donate or share with us please get in touch!

We look forward to hearing from you

A Trip to Charlestown

The learners who are studing photography as part of their Silver Arts Award visited Charlestown. Here are some beautiful pictures that were taken by a student and edited using photoshop. Such lovely colurs ❤

An Autumnal Walk in the Woods

Some of our learners went to the woods on a photography outing last week. There has been an abundance of mushrooms recently so we thought it would be great to picture them while they are here.

One of our students is exploring the theme of seasons as part of their photography project. They took some beautiful images which we thought we would share, because they are so lovely.

Another Busy Day

This morning we did some practical maths making delicious pizzas with a range of toppings. We had some lovely pizza shapes including a few hearts😀

We spent a bit of time discussing the Wednesday activities that will be coming up, including the cafe, next steps and enrichment activites.

We also enjoyed a short walk to Menacuddle Well where some learners had a go at photography and exploring some of the different camera settings. Thank you everyone for a lovely day. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Knit and Knatter

We had our first Knit and Knatter today during our lunch break. This group includes both staff and learners with the intention of sharing skills and learning or trying something new. Today we had a go at knitting with a little bit of crochet.

This group will be running every week and hopefully we will all get better with time - some winter scarfs might be made before winter 😀

Well done to everyone who took part!
