We are already in the second week of October. Time just flies, doesn't it?!

Do you get frustrated when all activities seem to stop during every school holiday? Well we don't! With the exception of 2 weeks off at Christmas for our instructors to have some time off we train every single week through the year.

So with October half term fast approaching why not sign up with us and get going before the holiday and enjoy training when everyone else is struggling to find something to do on those dark wet autumn evenings!

Still places available with our recruitment offer.

One month of free training and a full set of kit for free if you sign up afterwards!

Get in touch now to sign up!

📣 SHARING FOR YOUR INFORMATION ON BEHALF OF National Grid 📣

You’re invited to our drop-in event and webinar
As part of the Great Grid Upgrade, National Grid is proposing to deliver two new substations on a site that is adjacent to our existing Aberthaw Substations. The project would replace the two existing Aberthaw substations and be known as Gileston Substation.

The new substations will connect homes, businesses and public services to more secure, cleaner, home-grown energy from more affordable sources.

View our website
As a local stakeholder, we are inviting you to our events where you can find out more about the plans, speak directly with members of the project team and provide feedback that will help shape the planning application.

**NOTICE TO USERS OF THE GATHERING PLACE**

On Wednesday 7th October, TreeRex, on behalf of Preim, will be carrying out reactive tree works to remove a partially uprooted poplar tree which is currently at high risk of further uprooting and falling towards Flemingston Road.

During the works, there will be temporary traffic management measures in place at intervals along Flemingston Road. More importantly, they will need to restrict access to the church from Flemingston Road for periods of time.

You will still be able to access The Gathering Place on foot.

The road space immediately outside the church is required to safely position and operate the cherry picker, along with the other necessary plant and machinery. This is essential to allow them to carry out the works safely.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation while these necessary safety works are undertaken!
