You may have noticed it is a tad warm today. Please make sure you drink throughout the day, stay hydrated, and have a drink with you at training.

Session will be paced accordingly with regular drink breaks, but feel free to get a drink at any time as required (just do not walk into a kick or punch in the process!)

A reminder that the course and grading is set for Saturday 13th June, 11am.

Please remember to book in on Coacha for the course. 5th kyu and above, if you intend to attempt the grading, please let me know at least 1 week beforehand.

Well the day came and went faster than we would like! 3 hours flies by when you're having fun!

Thank you so much to John Gardiner for coming down and putting us all through our paces. Another fantastic course!

And another massive thank you to all our guests that came to support the event Kokoro Shotokan Karate, CSSK - Cardiff Shotokan School Of Karate, KUGB Wales, and of course all the students from the BJK.

We also had a visit from the Vale Sports Development Team who came to have a look at what we were doing. Thank you, also, for your support.

We are lucky to be surrounded by a great community of karate-ka who support these types of events, and each other. Keep an eye out for next year's course around the February/March time again! It seems so far away 🥹
