All set up at the St Albans Half Marathon this morning! The sun is shining and we’re cheering on 20 runners and walkers in different events.

Good luck to everyone taking part! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

And as David has said - congrats to the MoFs and good luck to the team walking in Scotland today!

Just last week.....

We were all getting quite wet, but having an amazing time at the charity event hosted by Fade To Black with support from Bradford&Howley! The rain didn't dampen any spirits, and everyone who came along to support had a fab time! Food, drink, raffles, lots of chatting and laughter - it really was a wonderful afternoon and evening.

It also raised an incredible £3000 for Youth Talk. We're absolutely staggered by the total, and are so grateful to everyone who contributed!

Thank you all - you have made a real difference to the young local people who need our support.

Today is the final day of the MOFs walk!

After breakfast , they will be heading from Belford to Berwick, wearing a selection of football shirts ⚽ Jim Lewis is (of course) wearing his shirt with pride.

While it’s the shortest day in terms of distance at just under 30km, this is also the most remote part of the route, with fewer places for pitstops, and after the first two days tiredness may well have an impact.

The group from are simply amazing - they’ve nearly hit their target of raising £30,000 to help Youth Talk support local young people, and we’re going to be cheering them on every step of their final day. And if you can help with a donation, we know it will help to spur them on!

Last week our CEO David Barker enjoyed meeting with not one but two of our new local mayors!

Both Councillor Kirsti Wenn - Mayor of Harpenden, and Councillor Matt Fisher - Mayor of St Albans have chosen Youth Talk as one of their charities this year, and we are hugely grateful. We're looking forward to working with them over the coming months and wish them the best in their mayoral terms.

💙Day two is underway for the amazing Men of Fields of Garden Fields Cricket Club!

Stunning views, as they tackle nearly 34km, heading from Craister to Belford. They're on the coast for most of the day, through Seahouses and Bamburgh, before heading inland slightly as they reach their second finish line at the Bluebell Inn, Belford.

Day one completed, huge respect to all the walkers and the folk we met on the way! ❤️

Hope and Anchor @ Alnmouth, the amazing Tracy and Billy, and their seafood chowder. The Market Tavern Steakhouse and Lodge , Alnwick, Brummy and all her team, just sensation,we were spoilt. ❤️

Thursday is the new Friday and our big weekend has started!

We are so grateful to everyone who chooses to take on a challenge for us - and we're so excited to have so much going on this weekend! From walking miles, to playing golf, and running half marathons - it will be definitely be one to remember.

💙Thank you to you all.

Please note that due to the weather conditions, our Jump Club have had their Skydive postponed. Safety comes first, and while we know they were all ready and waiting to jump out of a plane for us, we want it to be safe for them! Watch this space for the new date being announced.
