8.45am and it’s already roasting hot. This is why during the summer we may advertise longer opening times but we would really appreciate you coming as soon as we open as it’s too hot to get on with chores once we’ve lifted the loans out and then have to put stuff back in. Thank you for your understanding. This means we will be asking you to come at 8.30am on a Saturday and 6pm on a Monday. We are volunteer led and this makes such a difference to our volunteers 💚

We’re expanding! Thanks to we have the use of a whole garage, as well as our London Road shop, so we have decided to expand our stock to include camping equipment! Our little tent that was already listed has been super popular with Duke of Edinburgh award teens but now we have a family tent to add to the mix along with more small tents.

The recently did an article on plastic free kitchen swaps and at the end they say “it’s so easy to fall prey to the latest kitchen gadget, only to use it twice before it gathers dust” and they then recommend borrowing from your local library of things 👏
