Yesterday our cast took their final ovation after five incredible performances and over 3,500 people came to cheer them on. What a week. What a cast. What a community.

Although the curtain has closed for this year, the memories, the laughter, and the friendships will keep shining for a long time yet.

To everyone who joined us in the audience: thank you. Your support means the world to our Scouts and Guides, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that shows up with such heart.

The Crest of the Wave finale hit differently last night - our audience didn’t just watch it, they all joined in. The whole theatre was singing, cheering, and lifting the roof. It was everything we love about Gang Show.

We’ve also been reading through all your one‑word reviews and they’ve honestly blown us away…
Stupendous. Amazing. So good. Absolutely incredible. Mesmerising. Fantastic. Magnificent. Brilliant.

Your words mean the world to our cast of Scouts and Guides, and all the adult volunteers supporting the show behind the scenes.

Our cast absolutely shone tonight at the opening night of St Albans Gang Show and if you watch this reel to the end, you’ll hear exactly what our incredible audience thought of it. The energy in the Alban Arena was electric, and the audience participation made it even more special.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for our sell‑out performance tonight.

✨ The curtain has closed on our final dress rehearsal… and the next time it rises, we open our 2026 St Albans Gang Show! ✨

Our incredible cast have been rehearsing since October, pouring their hearts, energy and talent into every number. And behind them stand thousands of volunteer hours from our amazing adult team who make this show possible year after year. We couldn’t be prouder of what this community has created together.

Thank you for every good luck message, every cheer, and every ticket already booked. For those joining us this week, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Alban Arena.

And if you haven’t grabbed your seats yet, there are still some tickets available - including Saturday night (yes, we know… Valentine’s Day plans sorted!).

Tonight our amazing older cast and adult volunteers took to the stage for the final tech rehearsal - the moment everything comes together. Their dedication, heart, and sheer joy are what make St Albans Gang Show such a special tradition.

Now we need your help to raise the roof.

There are just a handful of tickets left, starting from only £9. Come spend an evening with St Albans Scouts and Guides as they light up the stage and celebrate everything brilliant about our community.

Long before the curtain rises, the magic of Gang Show is already in motion.

On this loop through the Alban Arena, you’ll see parents ironing hundreds of costume pieces, our costume team still crafting show items with incredible care, and the stairways and corridors that will soon buzz with excited young people heading to and from the stage.

And while all this work is happening behind the scenes, out front we’ve already sold over 96% of our tickets. There are only limited chances left to see the show, whether you’re joining us once, twice, or becoming one of our legendary “three + timers”.

None of this would be possible without our incredible adult volunteers. Their time, skill, and heart are what bring this show to life, year after year.

Thank you for everything you do to make this experience unforgettable for our young people and our community.

Our Gang had been making memories since October and what a journey it’s been. From those first rehearsals to show week, we’ve laughed, learned, grown, and built something truly special together. Our finale song says it all!

There’s just one week left until the curtain falls, but we’re soaking up every second. The show may end soon… yet the friendships, the joy, and the memories we’ve made will stay with us for a lifetime.

The final days of rehearsals are in full swing and the cast are sounding incredible as they bring ‘Crest of a Wave’ to life.
