We're supporting an important new research project by the Youthscape Centre for Research, exploring the experiences of vocation and ministry pathways for Global Majority Heritage (GMH) individuals in the Diocese of St Albans.

The research will help identify opportunities, challenges, and ways we can better support those exploring God's call to ministry.

Do you know a young person who has already received their exam results, or who is still waiting to hear news this summer?

Here is a prayer for them today. You may wish to share it with them. 💜

It was written a few years ago by a gap year student, while the memory of what it felt like to wait for and receive exam results was still fresh in her mind:

Jesus,
Keep reminding me of the bigger picture over the next few weeks,
Keep me in your hands when all other hands disappear.
For I am convinced that neither entry requirements nor exam results,
neither anticipation nor doubts, neither success nor failure,
nor any expectations, neither last minute fears nor anxieties,
nor anything else in life, will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Please, don't let me forget it!
Amen 🙏

When you hear the word pilgrimage, you might think of famous destinations or journeys across the world. But pilgrimage can also begin right on your own doorstep. From prayer walks through local streets and pilgrimages with dogs to walks along the Bunyan Trail, these stories from across the Diocese show the many ways people are journeying with God this summer: https://www.stalbansdiocese.org/news/a-summer-of-pilgrimage/

Do you have a pilgrimage story? Tag the diocese in your social media posts using or email [email protected]
