Lucy Jordan-Caws contacted St Albans Lions Club to say:

I wanted to share an update on my time in the Tokyo Deaflympics in November 2025, which the St Albans Lions Club kindly gave a grant to cover a large part of my costs to represent GB in swimming.

Representing GB at the Deaflympics (and bringing home a silver medal) was a massive dream achieved.

My results were:
4x100m Medley relay, butterfly leg, 2nd place in the final (silver medal)
200m butterfly: 7th, finalist and PB
100m butterfly: 8th, finalist and PB
50m butterfly: 16th
200m Individual medley: 13th and PB
100m freestyle: 28th and PB
I also raced the women’s and mixed 4x100m freestyle relays and reached the final in both.
