Herts Inclusive Theatre is a registered charity (no: 1180955) offering children, young people and adults, many of whom have learning and physical disabilities, the opportunity to participate in drama, dance and music in an inclusive and safe environment. Many of HIT participants can feel alienated from mainstream activities and joining us creates an opportunity and a platform for self expression,
building confidence and making friends. We use inclusion to break down barriers between mainstream and disabled participants offering real-time, experiential theatre practice. The charity is now in it's 20th Year and are at the very heart of Hertfordshire's thriving arts scene, established as one of the county's leading Inclusive Theatre companies . HIT currently works with over 800 children and young people a year offering a vibrant programme of theatre activities, creative projects and exciting performance opportunities.
