It’s dark early and seems like summer is years away. So let’s try to imagine we are at a Greek taverna in the centre of Athens or by the water on a Greek island!

Well here we are in November and the business we want to shout out about is Souvlaki City near Morrison’s and also The Queen of Herts in Redbourn.

Please try to visit them. They are both deserving places with great food and friendly service.

Please remember that our featured restaurant for October is La Stazione 159 victoria street AL1 3TA St Albans .

Their lunch menu is great value and only £12.90 for a two course meal.

The food is delicious and we are looking forward to our next meal there.

So, it’s October and this month we want to encourage you to visit not only one small food business but two!

La Stazione 159 victoria street AL1 3TA St Albans .
They are located just near the bridge by the station and we can recommend their food - it’s delicious! Please try to call in any time but Monday is pizza only night. Eat in any pizza is £9.90 and takeaway £7.90! There are five Mondays in October so hopefully you will give them a try.

Secondly we want to shout out to the newly reopened Heartwood Tearooms in Sandridge. The have a range of cakes, sandwiches and all served with delicious coffee and teas! Perfect place to meet friends before or after a brisk walk in Heartswood Forest.

Please give these venues a try this month. Remember to us a pizza or sandwich may not be impossible but to the hospitality industry a few hundred people coming through the door could be a huge difference!

Lunch today at Infuse Modern Indian Bistro and it didn’t disappoint! It was the first visit for Clive Roberts and he thoroughly loved the food! If you are in the town and hungry try their lunch menu! Great price and you won’t leave hungry!
