Our TEDx St Albans Community Dinner is officially SOLD OUT! 🎉

On Friday 6 November, we'll be bringing together members of the TEDx St Albans community for an evening of ideas, conversation and connection to explore what happens to a great idea after the TEDx talk is over.

Over the past three years, our speakers have shared thought-provoking ideas about our community, our future, technology, humanity, wellbeing, creativity and how we live and work together.

Now it's time to revisit some of those ideas and explore which could make a real difference to St Albans, and what it would take to turn inspiration into action.

On Friday, we brought the team together for updated headshots and a new team photo, captured by the wonderful Stephanie Belton at the The White Rooms St Albans.

We also welcomed our 2027 speakers together for the very first time! It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to meet, connect and kick off the journey towards next year’s event.

After three incredible events, we’ll be back for another day of inspiring speakers, thought-provoking ideas and conversations that bring our community together.

What happens to a great idea after the TEDx talk is over?

That’s what we’ll be exploring at our next TEDx St Albans salon. We’re bringing together the TEDx St Albans community: speakers, sponsors, partners, audience members, volunteers and anyone who believes great ideas can make a difference.

Over the past three years, TEDx St Albans speakers have shared ideas about our community, our future, technology, humanity, wellbeing, creativity and how we live and work together.

Now we want to put those ideas to work. We’ll revisit some of the most thought-provoking ideas from the past three years, explore which could make a real difference to St Albans and what it would take to turn them into action.

We’re bringing the wider TEDx St Albans community together for a community dinner, revisiting some of the ideas shared across our events over the past three years and asking:

What happens to an idea after the TEDx talk is over?

Join us for an evening of ideas, conversation and connection as we explore which ideas matter most to our community and how we might take them forward.

Today’s TEDx St Albans salon, was fantastic, 9 really inspiring student speakers ..

So important that young people develop speaking skills, critical life skills and these young women did an amazing job. They were talking about the challenges young people face, what women in the workplace face what resilience really is and how to do it !.. more to follow but pics of the on- the-day team setting up ..
