Salons are designed to be smaller, single topic events, still all about ideas but more focus on interactivity and action.

We had a great TEDx St Albans salon, focused on the topic of women’s leadership.

We had a wonderful group of female leaders and we explored leadership paradigms, where they come from, masks we wear, and how they impact our leadership styles ..

In his thoughtful and moving talk, Will Castle asks questions we all need to consider. Why does the very word su***de cause everyone to feel embarrassed? What can be done to reduce the high and growing numbers of people who lose their life this way?

Will shares his own experience of losing his father to su***de in 2010, and how a decade of silence led him to understand the importance of talking openly, reducing stigma and supporting others. His message gently breaks taboos and offers hope to those affected. 💛
