The next TEDx St Albans main event will be in March 2027 and our theme will be "Magnificently Human." In the past our humanity was taken as given , in the future it will be matter of conscious decision. The world is changing rapidly and whether that is for the better or the worse remains to be seen and it's all to play for right now. @
So we want TEDx St Albans 2027 to explore answers to questions like;
-How do empathy, creativity and ethical judgement become our greatest competitive advantage?
-How can democracy flourish in an era of misinformation, echo chamber media and declining trust?
-What happens to identity, belonging and relationships when technology changes how we communicate?
-What does courageous leadership look like when certainty is disappearing?
-What can each of us do, in our workplaces, our communities and our daily lives, to strengthen human dignity and connection?
-How do we raise future generations to be both technologically capable and deeply human?
We invite you to apply to speak if you have a novel and important idea around these topics..or if you know someone, ideally local to St Albans / Hertfordshire, who's voice needs to be heard, encourage them to apply!
