St Agnes Pilot Gig Club

Come down to Mylor and have a row with us! [email protected] St Agnes are a relatively small club (50ish members) and we've just celebrated our tenth anniversary. Although most members are from the village and surrounding area, we keep the gigs at Mylor Yacht Harbour and row from there every Saturday morning. This location has been chosen because we are pretty much guaranteed to be able to

get out on the water whatever the weather. The club has competitive crews (currently Mens & Ladies A and B in addition to Vets crews) who row at the World Championships on the Scillies and other events throughout the summer. There's also recreational/social rowing all year round, with additional rowing during the evenings when there's enough light. In terms of membership, the club offer 3 free rows from Mylor for those that are thinking of joining - after that, membership is £75 a year for adults. As a newcomer/novice you'll be offered plenty of tuition and coaching... in fact the coaching doesn't ever really stop no matter how much experience you have!
