We love orienteering at Outsider. Cornwall Orienteering club have some urban events happening in August. These are a great way to try out orienteering without having to worry too much about getting lost. You still need a map and compass but you can use local knowledge too. Family friendly course lengths are available and the orienteering club love to see new faces. Why not give this a try?

While we're away during the school holidays we're sharing some cool stuff that's happening locally. The Hayle 2k kids run is a timed 2 kilometre run on King George's Memorial Walk, Hayle for ages 3-14. More of a personal challenge and less of a race, kids can come back every month and try to better their time. Fun, friendly atmosphere and free! sign up here.

After the England World Cup success last night, we're super excited for the semi final on Wednesday 🙌
We're still planning to go ahead with our family run on the dunes on Weds eve, with a 6pm sharp start, and all done and dusted by 7pm, with plenty of time to get back for the game. It could be the perfect way to manage the pre-match excitement or nerves. Hope to see you there, and as always, any questions, please ask 😊

We recently hosted an Outsider style party for these amazing girls. Anna requested an orienteering, trail running, treasure hunting contest and the girls really embraced the challenge, running around Perranporth, taking pictures and generally having a great time.
We were lucky to have incredible weather and a lovely base camp on the beach with parents Matt & Alex, to enjoy hot dogs and cake after. Thank you girls, you were all superstars 🥳🙌
