Ryde RBL & Ex-Service Men’s Club run our club in conjunction with the Ryde RBL Branch. The Ryde RBL & Ex-Service Men’s Club, was the first legion club founded on the Isle of Wight and our club in St.James’ Street is ow

ned by the club members. We are a very active club, with Billard, Snooker and Crib teams, a bi-monthly Bingo club, as well as weekly Meat Draws, and very popular Easter and Christmas Raffles. The Ryde RBL Branch also organises various trips to the mainland, is the custodian of the Ryde War Memorial in Lind Street, and the Branch has a very active Poppy Appeal Fundraising Team. We also help organise the annual Armed Forces day Parade which takes place at Appley, Ryde. We have a fully trained Welfare Officer who works with members in times of need.
