We are delighted to be working with Traditional Skills and the Little Learning Company in the delivery of their Forge Ahead TrailBlazer Project.

🎨🌿⚒ We’re excited to launch our new Forge Ahead project in Denbighshire!

This fully funded programme supports eligible Denbighshire residents who are currently out of work, to build on existing skills or learn something completely new through heritage crafts and traditional skills training.

Whether you want to develop a hobby into a business, create a website to sell your crafts, explore volunteering or employment, or try a new skill from scratch, we'd love to hear from you! With opportunities to try heritage crafts such as blacksmithing, sewing, painting, dry-stone walling, pyrography and more, there's something for everyone.

To be eligible, you must:
✅ Be aged 16 or over
✅ Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
✅ Live in Denbighshire
✅ Not currently be in work, full-time education, or training

You must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
🔹 Have a disability or health condition (including autism, ADHD, Asperger's, or other social and behavioural conditions)
🔹 Have childcare or other caring responsibilities
🔹 Be an asylum seeker or refugee

🌿🪓🎨 Forge Ahead, our new Trailblazer-funded project, supports eligible Denbighshire residents to develop new skills and explore future employment opportunities through traditional heritage skills training. Through a range of tailored learning opportunities across Ruthin, Denbigh, Maeshafn, Llangollen and Corwen, participants can get involved in heritage crafts and rural skills training including wool, wood and land-based crafts!

Important Announcement !!!!
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our café.
The café was launched as a funded community project with the aim of creating opportunities, bringing people together, and providing a welcoming space for everyone. We are incredibly proud of everything it has achieved and the positive impact it has had on our community.
Unfortunately, in the current economic climate, and with no further funding available, the café is no longer financially sustainable. While we had hoped the café would eventually become self-sustaining, visitor numbers have not been high enough to cover the ongoing costs of running the service.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to every customer, volunteer, supporter, and member of the community who visited, donated, shared our posts, attended events, and championed the café over the years. Your support has meant so much to us.
A special thank you must also go to our dedicated café team member. His hard work, commitment, and passion helped create a friendly, inclusive environment that welcomed people from all walks of life. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have contributed.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we remain proud of what the café achieved and the opportunities it provided. The friendships made, skills developed, and memories created will stay with us long after the doors close.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting us every step of the way.

✨Calling All Crafters and Makers! ✨

27th October 2026 11am - Naylor Leyland Center in Ruthin

Resource is excited to be hosting a Craft Market as part of our Trailblazer project, creating a welcoming and supportive space for talented local crafters to showcase and sell their handmade creations.

This market is designed for makers who may find traditional markets difficult to access, Including people living with disabilities, anxiety or other challanges or even just a first timer who wants to try a local market before branching out. Our aim is to provide an inclucive environment where everyone has the oppurtunity to share their creativity.

Our table spaces are now available to hire!

When you hire a table with us, our friendly team will be on hand to support you throughout the day and help in any way we can.

Today is a big day for many young people receiving their exam results. Whether you've achieved the grades you hoped for or you're feeling unsure about your next steps, remember that there is more than one path to success.

For many people, getting to where they want to be means overcoming barriers and finding the right support along the way. Whatever your situation, you don't have to face it alone.

At ReSource CIC, we can support you to build confidence, develop employability skills, and explore your future options through our Working on Wellbeing project. If you're interested in self-employment or have a business idea you'd like to develop, our Trailblazer project can help you take those first steps towards starting your own business.
