To clarify the announcement made by the Chairman this morning (attached)

It is with great sadness that two essential committee volunteers resigned due to the incompetence and poor conduct of the Chairman in relation to this community event.

Refunds will be given to all those who bought a ticket, the ex committee members will make sure you are not out of pocket.

We are sorry to the 90 people who bought tickets.

Another rather special attraction at our country show is our bird or prey specialists.
With us all day they will give a demonstration of their beautiful birds as well as a stand for you to view, ask questions and perhaps even hold some of the more friendly and tame of the group.

We are so grateful to have these magical creatures with us at the show this year.

The Axe Men. Our guests enjoyed them so much last year we have booked them and they are back again.

Come and marvel and their craftsmanship and brute strength as they entertain our crowds during the day with their woodwork

The Pleasant Pluckers are joining us for light hearted and joyful entertainment during our Country Show on Saturday 🎶

We love a Ukulele here on the show committee and can’t wait to hear them perform with a glass of fizz in hand whilst perusing all of the competition entries.

Announcement…

We are absolutely delighted and excited to share that we have our very own Steam Roller being showcased at this years Flower & Country Show.

Thank you to Gary who has generously agreed to display this incredible feat of engineering for all our guests to see.

He plans to roll it over from Graigfechan to the Show ground Saturday morning. Keep an eye out for him, it will be an incredible sight.

What a beautiful day for our committee members to be out judging the wonderful gardens of Ruthin and the surrounding areas.

Les Starling our previous Chairman, now committee member & Mike Smith Chairman, owner of Tom Smith in town (pictured) are out all day judging and taking photographs of all who have entered our competition.
They have a full day ahead of them and we cannot wait to see the results.

Thank you to all that have entered, it’s a joy for Les and Mike to view your gardens.

Join us and enter your Dogs into our Family Dog Show 🐶

Classes start at 2:00pm

Entrance is 50p per dog per class. Payable on the day at the treasurers caravan.

Class 1: Best small dog ie Terrier size and under

Class 2: Best bigger breed ie Labrador and bigger size

Class 3: Best Child handler (14 years and under)

Class 4: Best veteran dog (7 years and older)

Class 5: Best trick by a dog.

Class 6: Dog who looks most like its owner

Class 7: Scruffy (best companion)

These classes will be judged by our wonder local Wern Vets.

Entries for classes are on the day.

Rosettes will be awarded for 1st , 2nd , 3rd in each class.

We are delighted to announce some of the entertainment have planned for our Flower & Country show this year 🤸‍♀️
The Train Station Fitness are a wonderful aerial dance studio based in Bryn SM and Buckley. Cheryl and her team of instructors will be putting on short performances throughout the day as well as offering opportunities to try aerial arts for yourselves.

We are so pleased to have them join us for the day.
