We had a message from a dog owner who was asking for help for a small dog who was biting the family.

The team have been working behind the scenes, engaging with behaviourist and looking for funding help to kennel the dog for assessment.

Today we got the sad message that the dog was put to sleep. We are absolutely shattered 💔💔

To anyone seeking help for dogs they can no longer handle. Please give us time, we are run by volunteers and are trying our best every day to pick up the peaces for people who no longer want their pet.

Sadly for him it was too late, rest easy 😢 😭.

Over the past 4 weeks we have had a few amazing donations from companies and from a lovely family who's Mum sadly passed away who was a crazy animal lady like we all are.

Due to the generosity of these people we have finally been able to make our last payment on Monday to our vets. To clear all outstanding bills and will be opening to new intakes as of March. With our new team of volunteers/trainers and coordinators thank you for your continued support 🐕 🐈 😻 ❤️ 🐾

As the year comes to a close, our volunteers for the rescue would like to thank all of our adopters and supporters for all their support over 2025.

For us, it's been the one of the hardest so far, but our small team of volunteers are still working hard behind the scenes.

In the new year we have loads of new volunteers starting up and a new rescue manager ❤️.

Sadly today we have had to ban someone from our food bank service today!!!

Our collection is by arrangement only. This person's face has not been shown to avoid any back lash.

DO NOT attend any of our volunteers personal home address'. This person went on to rattle our volunteers door early this morning. Look in her windows, open our drop in bin in a hope possibly to help herself. Then proceeded to go to the next door neighbours and ask her to call the volunteer.

The person has used the service before as is fully aware of our procedures.

Anyone attending volunteers homes without arrangements will be banned from the service all together.

We volunteer on our own free time, we do not operate a round the clock service.

Like every rescue now in the UK, we are struggling to stay afloat.

So many people need food bank and rehoming support, our monthly donations are taking a massive hit.

So much so we may need to close by the end of September. 😢 😭 😿

We are reaching out to our 55,000 followers to donate even £1 a month to keep our wee rescue and food bank going?.
