🚌✨ **A lovely day of memories, creativity and fun at Manor Farm!** ✨🚌

Last Monday, we welcomed Richard from Aldridge Transport Museum to Manor Farm for a fantastic workshop all about old buses and transport! 🚌

The group enjoyed looking at old photographs, taking part in a fun quiz to guess where the pictures were taken, and learning about the colours and shapes of the traditional conductor’s hat and the old-fashioned ticket machine.

To finish off the session, everyone got creative and made their very own bus! These wonderful creations will soon be on display at the museum for others to enjoy.

A big thank you to Richard for such an enjoyable and interesting workshop. It was a lovely day full of smiles, memories and laughter!

**Fancy joining in the fun?** 😊 Our Silver Scheme activities are a great way for anyone aged 50 and over to meet new people, try something different, share memories and enjoy friendly activities together.

Come along, get involved and make some lovely new memories with us. We’d love to see you there! 💛

Today marks the start of Falls Prevention Week and National Eye Health Week!

Here at Manor Farm, we’re taking the opportunity to start conversations about the importance of looking after our eyes and making eye health part of our everyday wellbeing.

Did you know?

Regular eye tests aren’t just about checking whether you need glasses , they can also help detect early signs of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.

You don’t have to notice a problem with your vision to benefit from an eye test. Some eye conditions can develop gradually without obvious symptoms.

For many people, a routine eye test is recommended every 2 years, although some people may need to be seen more frequently depending on their age, health and individual circumstances.

Today, we’ve been chatting with our groups about the importance of regular eye tests, sharing information about discounted eye tests, and enjoying a few little treats kindly provided by our local Specsavers to help get the conversation started!

So, when did you last get your eyes tested? Why not make it a priority this week? Your eyes are worth looking after!

Remember healthy eyes can help prevent further issues including mobility. We also have free Mobility classes for those over 50. Don't delay call us today on 01922 614316.
