🌟 It’s Volunteers’ Week – and we’ve got something to shout about! 🌟
Behind every section meeting, camp, residential, campfire, muddy field, last-minute game idea, and perfectly chaotic meeting, there’s a team of AMAZING volunteers making it all happen.
At 1st Weston and Weston Point Scout Group, our volunteers give their time, energy (and occasionally their sanity!) to create opportunities and memories that our young people will carry with them for years to come.
Whether it’s planning camps, sorting out admin, fixing things five minutes before they’re needed, or delivering an exciting programme week after week, they do it because they care.
💚 To every Team Leader, Team Member and Committee Member– thank you.
💚 To those who step in when needed, stay late, and go the extra mile – thank you.
💚 And to the people quietly keeping everything ticking behind the scenes – thank you.
Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without you.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, there’s always room for more volunteers. And we promise it’s not all chaos... just most of it!
Thank you to all who took the time to nominate our volunteers, young leader and chair it has been amazing to see how much difference our group has made... We'll be arranging a display in the coming weeks
