🕵️‍♂️🎃 Uncover the Ghostly Tale of Dr Palmer – The Rugeley Poisoner! 🎃🕵️‍♂️

This Halloween, take a chilling stroll through local history with our new Story Walk, themed around Dr William Palmer, the infamous Rugeley Poisoner. Tried at the Old Bailey and executed at Stafford Prison in 1856, his dark legacy still haunts the Midlands…

👻 As part of a special project with The Friends of Hednesford Park and Cannock Chase National Landscape, the Beavers from 1st Rugeley Scouts have been learning about Slitting Mill and Dr Palmer to earn their Guardians of Cannock Chase badge.

🧠 Their creative work is now featured in 10 story walk frames across:
📍 Cannock Park
📍 Elmore Park
📍 Ravenhill Park
📍 Hednesford Park
