This Wednesday we have the Houlton Yarners meeting. They will be meeting at 7pm at the barn. It’s a great chance to knit/cross stitch/crochet and chat with friends. We welcome all crafts and have many projects you can help out with, come and join us 🧶

We also have Books and a beyond meeting. They will be meeting at 7:30pm at the barn. Come and join us for a social evening of discussing the latest read, picking future reads and having a glass of wine or a cuppa whilst relaxing 📚

What a lovely evening we had last night! Following our annual AGM, we sampled LOTS of bakes as part of our bake off alongside some fantastic member led ted talks, topics included hair care, making your own clothes, changing your mindset, veterinary nursing and just saying yes!

On Wednesday we will be hosting our annual AGM. This will be followed by our bake off competition and member led TED talks.

If you are taking part in the bake off, please can you bring your bake pre-sliced into at least 10 portions (the portions can be small). As a reminder, the categories for the bakes are: cakes & traybakes, biscuits & cookies, and savoury. You do not need to have told us in advance if you are bringing an entry for the bake off! 🧁🍪🥧

Our sub groups and social nights!

Houlton Yarners is a sub group where you can bring your current project or discover something new, whilst chatting with friends. Meeting every first and third Wednesday at The Barn at 7pm.

Houlton Mums is a social group of local mums who meet every third Wednesday at The Waterside Pub at 7:30pm. It’s a chance to meet up, make friends and have a sit down without the kids shouting at you!

Books and Beyond is a sub group that meet every first Wednesday at The Barn at 7:30pm to discuss a book of the month.
