CADS is holding auditionsfor two laugh-out-loud Shakespeare-inspired comedies heading to the Royston Arts Festival this September.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce that our forthcoming production of Bleak Expectations cannot be performed on the scheduled dates.

One of our cast members from Bleak Expectations is running the Edinburgh Marathon in two weeks to raise money for Royston Foodbank and Royston & Villages SEN Lego Club.

Rumour has it Beth will be spending the run learning lines between water stations. If you spot someone handing out theatre flyers dressed in Victorian costume somewhere near mile 20... it’s probably her.

🎭Auditions tonight!🎭

Don't forget that we're holding auditions for our next production - Bleak Expectations by Mark Evans - from 7.00 p.m. tonight, Wednesday 4 March, at Icknield Walk FIrst School.

All ages over 18 are welcome, whether or not you've been involved with CADS before, and there's no need to prepare anything.
The show itself is due to be performed over the weekend of 6/7 June and is a surreal and hilarious parody of the work of Dickens and other Victorian writers.

Play reading tonight!

A reminder that our latest round-the-room play reading takes place tonight (Monday 23 February) at 7.00 p.m. in the Walmsley Room at the Old Schoolhouse, Market Hill, Royston SG8 9JL, when we'll be reading extracts from Prism by Terry Johnson. All are welcome!

Please note that you'll need to come to the back door of the Schoolhouse which is in Fish Hill.
