Our roots go deep, with a rich history spanning decades of friendship, support, and advocacy for women across the world. The newly formed Royston Evening Group WI meets the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7:30-9:30pm in Heritage Hall in the

Royston Town Hall (SG8 7DA). Whether you're a seasoned WI member or considering joining us for the first time, we invite you to become a part of our incredible community!

Important Notice: The Women’s Institute Royston Evening Group (WIREG) is suspended with immediate effect.

Following concerns shared by both the committee & members regarding the recent changes to the equality, diversity, and inclusion policy announced by the National Federation of the Women’s Institute, all committee members have stepped down, and the group has decided to suspend all activity.

We will shortly be relaunching as an independent & inclusive women’s group for Royston and the surrounding areas.

Brave the weather and join us for our next meeting this Thursday, January 8th from 7:30pm at the Royston Town Hall!

We’re kicking off 2026 in fine voice with a Sea Shanty Workshop - expect laughs, harmony, and a great evening together.

Wrap up warm, bring your sense of adventure, and come sing it out!

As always, we always welcome new visitors and your first meeting is free to attend.

We’re back after our summer break on Thursday, 11th September at 7:30 pm with something a little different - a virtual tour of , led by a local expert from the . This unique talk will uncover the history, legends, and mysteries of one of our town’s most intriguing landmarks.

Whether you’re new to Royston, looking to make friends, or just curious about what the Wl is all about, this is the perfect time to pop along and see what we’re all about.

Your first meeting is FREE, and if you’d like to drop in again, it’s only £5. Come along and discover what our WI is all about!
