A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Roydon Primary Academy Colour Run today! 🌈🎉

A massive thank you to all of the staff for helping look after the children throughout the event, and special thanks to Mr Kirk and Mrs Figueiredo for your help in organising and setting up the track.

Thank you as well to all of our amazing parent helpers who volunteered their time to get messy throwing paint, helping throughout the event, and selling snacks - we couldn’t have done it without you!

Well done to all of the children who took part and made the day so much fun, and a huge thank you to all the parents and families who came along and showed such fantastic support.

The current totals raised on and offline are on the poster 👇 (Purple House still topping the leader board), and online donations are still open until 31st May. So far, we have raised almost £3,000 - just a small final push will get us over the line! 🎯

We hope everyone had an amazing time and enjoyed the day as much as we did! 💙💚💜❤️

Some of the ladies of FORSA and Mr Kirk have been busy this morning getting everything prepped and ready for this afternoon's Colour Run - the colours are fantastic!

We are so excited and can't wait to see the kids (and teachers 👀) enjoying the fun later!

We are so excited for our first ever Colour Run today!

It’s been another fantastic week as the Houses battle it out on the leaderboard, and things are looking incredibly close.

💜 Purple House have had a slower week, but thanks to their amazing efforts to date, they’re still firmly holding the top spot with an impressive £879 👏

🩵 Blue House have also had a quieter week, but remain in second place with £574, keeping themselves well in the running.

💚 Green House have made a brilliant push this week, and are now at £500, closing the gap between second and third.

❤️ But Red House are right on their heels with £490, making huge strides and keeping this race incredibly close.

Still plenty of time for anything to happen - cash donations can be made via the House Colour buckets this afternoon, and all online fundraising pages will remain open until Sunday 31st May. The winning House will be announced in school after half term.

Thank you so much for your incredible support - it's going to be a fun afternoon!

A few quick reminders for Thursday’s Colour Run:

- 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝
- Participating children should arrive at school in their usual PE kit
- A white T‑shirt and sunglasses will be provided in school
- Children will be encouraged to fill their water bottles before leaving the classroom
- Parents are invited to arrive at 1.30pm and watch from the spectators’ area
- After the event, children will return to class and parents should follow usual pick‑up procedures
- Drinks and snacks will be available from the FORSA stall
- Colour powder may stain - please avoid brand‑new trainers or shorts/joggers

🟣🔵🟢🔴 Colour Run Fundraising Update 🟣🔵🟢🔴

Our Houses have been working incredibly hard this week, and whilst there’s been no change to the leaderboard positions, the donations have been coming in thick and fast.

😈💜 Purple House are still out in front with an impressive £854 , massively extending their lead and showing real determination.

🥶🩵 Blue House remain in second place with £543, continuing to build strong momentum and keeping the pressure on.

🤢💚 Green House are just about holding onto third place with £355 - Greens, this is your moment... one week to go until the event, will you be snapping at the heels of the Purples and Blues? We believe in you.

🥵❤️ Red House have made a fantastic leap this week and are now sitting just behind Green on £345 - an amazing effort and a huge improvement. They’re closing in fast, so Green House… eyes up, game on.
