🚂 We’re delighted to announce that Spa Valley Railway has been named a finalist in the Tunbridge Wells Business Awards 2026!

We’ve been shortlisted for Large Business of the Year, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside so many outstanding local organisations.

This achievement is a testament to our dedicated team, volunteers, supporters and visitors, who all help make the railway such a special part of the Tunbridge Wells community. Thank you for being part of our journey.

🚂 SULZER & STEAM POWERED WEEKEND! 🚂

This Saturday and Sunday, the Sulzer-powered diesels take centre stage alongside Bulleid Pacific 34053 ‘Sir Keith Park’ for our final weekend of normal operations before THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride arrives in town! 🎅

🟢 Saturday 24th October – Class 25 25185 takes to the tracks for the final time before returning to Devon for the winter. Don’t worry though, a Rat will be back in 2027!

🟢 Sunday 25th October – Class 33 33063 returns to passenger service for the first time since early 2026! This is a rare opportunity to enjoy 33063 in action before she returns to the shed in the new year for the continuation of her bodywork overhaul.

🧱 PLUS! Our Model Brick Show will be in full swing inside the Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West, with some fantastic LEGO® creations on display!

🎟️ AND KIDS GO FREE!

Steam trains, heritage diesels and an incredible model brick show – plenty of reasons to visit the Spa Valley Railway this weekend! 🚂❤️

❤️ THE POWER OF VOLUNTEERING! ❤️

The heritage railway sector was built by volunteers and continues to be run by dedicated volunteers alongside a small core of paid employees.

We’ve just pulled off the busiest and most successful event ever held at the Spa Valley Railway, and it’s all thanks to the incredible people who give up their time to make it happen.

Hundreds of hours of hard work, dedication and teamwork go into making events like this possible.

📅 24th & 25th October!

Our final special event of the main 2026 season before THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride arrives in town is almost here!

Join us this weekend at the Spa Valley Railway for Model Bricks Galore, featuring an incredible collection of LEGO® creations inside our historic Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West!

🚂 STEAM & DIESEL TRAINS!

We’ll be steaming through the High Weald countryside with Bulleid Pacific 34053 ‘Sir Keith Park’, alongside Class 25 25185!

This will also be one of your last chances to enjoy 25185 before she returns to Devon for the winter. Don’t worry though, a Rat will be back in 2027! 🐀

Day 4 and what a weekend we’ve had at the we’ve been blown away by the amazing support you’ve shown us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We open again at 11:00 until 18:00. There’s still some great beers on the racks and some fresh c***rs too!
