We raise money to buy things for the benefit of all the children and staff at Pembury School. We do this through the annual Christmas and Summer Fairs plus smaller events such as termly kids' discos, Kids on the Catwalk fashion shows, quizzes and more irregular events such as ice-skating, auctions and dinner dances. Recent purchases include new tables with benches for the dinner hall, playground
markings, wooden playground, chairs for the ICT suite, substantial donation towards a new server for the ICT suite and an interactive white board/projector for the hall. We always welcome new committee members to help plan events and decide how to spend funds, or simply parents willing to give up an hour or two to help on the day. Every little bit helps, especially in this age of budgetary cuts as the school simply does not have the money to buy all the extras which make both lessons and playtime more educational AND fun.
