Vaccines have saved 150 million lives in the last 50 years.

But access is still unequal.

In rural Kenya, distance to clinics and lack of information remain key barriers. Through mobile outreach and education, the Haller Foundation is helping bridge that gap. In 2025 we delivered:

đź’‰ 123 immunisations via mobile community outreach
🏥 908 vaccines at Nguuni Health Centre
📚 215 students educated on vaccinations through workshops

Access shouldn’t depend on location.

Wellness is more than an aspirational state of being.

Wellness supports quality of life, protects human dignity, and empowers individuals and communities to adopt sustainable lifestyles and safeguard resources for future generations.

The Haller Team has been running a weekly wellbeing and nature program every Saturday for the last year. Providing an opportunity for the local community in Mombasa to learn about the natural world through the Nguuni Nature Sanctuary.

Beyond nature, the sessions have also walked groups through health and wellness basics – dental care, hand hygiene, and introductions to menstrual health.

With over 800 attendees in 2025, the sessions have quickly established themselves as a cornerstone of Haller’s presence in Mombasa.

Learn more about the sessions on our blog.

Mangrove forests are among the most powerful and most threatened natural climate solutions we have.

Despite covering just 0.7% of global tropical forest area, mangroves can store up to twice their biomass in carbon.

In Kenya, the challenge is stark. Half of the country’s mangrove forests have been lost in the past 50 years, with devastating consequences for coastal ecosystems and livelihoods.

This World Wetlands Day 2026, we’re highlighting the urgent need to protect and restore mangrove ecosystems.

At Haller, we work alongside coastal communities in Mombasa to raise awareness, support conservation efforts, and protect these vital wetlands for the future.

Over the past year, collaboration has been central to expanding our reach and deepening impact.

We’ve been proud to work alongside partners including Samburu Girls, Tsavo Trust, ARES NGO, Milgis Foundation, Harvest Food Forest, and Novice Kitchen.

Together, we’ve supported initiatives spanning sustainable agriculture, conservation, education, nutrition, and livelihoods.

Partnerships allow us to do more and to do it better.

Collaboration is at the heart of sustainable change.

Our partnership with the Milgis Trust is evolving in 2026.

Expanding access to family planning services in some of Kenya’s most remote rangelands and strengthening vital water infrastructure that supports both people and wildlife.

2025 is on track to be one of the hottest years on record, with global temperatures already averaging around 1.42°C above pre-industrial levels.

In Kenya, prolonged droughts, erratic rainfall, and flooding are no longer rare events. They’re reshaping livelihoods and long-term outcomes.

Over 75% of Kenyans depend on agriculture, much of it rain-fed. As climate shocks intensify, staple crops face declining yields, pushing millions closer to food insecurity. The UN’s latest data shows Africa is the only region where hunger continues to rise.

Yet smallholder farmers are also central to the solution, but only if they are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and support.

This , we’re proud to share that Haller Foundation is partnering with Harvest Food Forest to strengthen and scale sustainable agriculture in Kenya and Uganda. But we need your support to make it happen! 👨‍🌾

Harvest Food Forest’s “Harvesting Hope” model is transforming schools into hubs of learning, nutrition, and enterprise. In February, their gardeners from Amboseli from Kenya 🇰🇪 and Rubona from Uganda 🇺🇬 hope to join us in Mombasa for a 12-day train-the-trainers programme at our demonstration farm.

With your support, this partnership can reach countless communities, creating long-term change for thousands of children and families across East Africa.
A huge thanks to Sharlene Cohen and Harvest Food Forest. We can't wait to welcome you!

Over the course of 15 years and 15 Golf Days, Vespa Capital has raised over £700,000 for the Haller Foundation, supporting our work in Kenya and around the world.

Through Vespa’s support, Haller has been able to provide ongoing education, healthcare services, and agricultural training for communities in Kenya struggling to adapt to a rapidly warming environment.

It’s also enabled our team to scale that impact through the award-winning Haller Farmer’s App, taking our learnings to smallholder farmers around the world.

From all of us at Haller, we want to say a huge thank you to Vespa Capital for their continued support.
