Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered at our annual plant sale last Saturday. Your support as customers and your help, assistance and dedication to this event as volunteers were nothing short of incredible.

We sold almost 200 strips of raffle tickets and served over 150 bacon butties and pieces of cake and pie (all home-baked by our trusty bakers) while welcoming faces old and new through the doors. And the plants of which there were lots - well, without our dedicated team of growers (they know who they are), this event wouldn't take place year after year.

£2,200 in the bank to keep the Rowlands Gill Community Centre going as its 100th birthday fast approaches. Thank you all 😍🌱🪴🌿

We are open! Plants, crafts, pies, cakes and bacon rolls!

It's a hive of activity here tonight as we set up for our revered plant sale, taking place tomorrow from 10am - 1 pm. From shrubs, house plants, perennials, to herbs and veg, we have you covered. All plants have been kindly donated by local gardeners to help us keep the doors open and the lights on here at the Community Centre. So thanks to all those who have donated :-)

So get yourselves down and treat yourself to a cuppa and a bacon butty or slice of cake while you are at it. 🪴🌿🌱🪴

Also, someone appears to have "borrowed' our wheelbarrow and forgotten to bring it back, so if you could kindly return it to us, we would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone has a spare they are looking to get rid of, please let us know

6 days to go for this popular event. We have a huge selection of locally grown plants and also selling pre-loved garden tools. There’s craft sellers and of course bacon sandwiches and homemade cakes. A great way to start your weekend.

We have 2 tables available for sellers for our plant sale on Saturday 16th May 10-1. Please message if your are interested in selling. It’s our biggest event of the year with great footfall.
