I'm starting with a mere marble and looking to trade up, one item at a time, to a motorhome (or something of great v
alue, whatever that may end up being!)

- Starting off with a marble, I then ask through the power of social media and word of mouth, if anyone would like to trade my marble for something of higher value (perhaps a pen or a book for example).
- I then trade that item for another slightly higher value item and so on.
- I aim to do this for a year to see what I can trade up to, perhaps a motorhome, holiday or a money can't buy experience!
- After a year, I shall sell the last trade and the proceeds will be split between 3 charities/organisation close to me (see below who & why))

My mum had epilepsy and passed away from it 5 years ago and tragically, there are 21 epilepsy-related deaths in the UK every week. That’s why I'd love to raise funds to help the research to prevent epilepsy-related deaths, including Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Epilepsy Research UK is only charity exclusively dedicated to driving and enabling life changing, life saving research into epilepsy.

I have had stutter since I was around 6 or 7yrs old and know first hand how restricting having one can be. Simple things that most people take for granted such as ordering a takeaway, buying a train ticket or even just saying your own name in a work meeting, are often a real struggle. This might sound dramatic but The McGuire Programme changed my life. I'm now able to control my stutter, not avoid any situations/words (which happened often!) and enjoy life without the constant fear of embarrassment, failure and anger of not being able to say what I want, when I want. The McGuire programme have been helping people to overcome their stutter or stammer for over 25 years and help them to go beyond stuttering. All the members stutter or stammer and know what it takes to overcome it.

I am currently a member of my village school PTA. It's great supporting the school and their children by raising funds and helping organise fun events for all the community. All fundraising go towards making the children's education at St John's Primary School a memorable and enjoyable experience.
