Hello Rowhedge,

It’ll soon be time to have fun fun fun at this year’s regatta 20th June 2026!!
🎉🎉⛵️🚣⛵️🚣🏾

Us volunteers are spread a little thin this year as we’ve introduced a lot of exciting attractions and entertainment that we need to oversea therefore we are appealing for volunteers to help us on the day! We know you have families coming and want to enjoy the day with them but if you can spare an hour or two to either help man one of our fundraising game stalls or at the end for some help packing up please comment or message us we’d be greatly appreciative!

🐥 Daniel Little, local lad & business man, is very pleased to be sponsoring this year's Duck Race at the Regatta, & we are very grateful to him for supporting this much treasured event 🐥

🐥 The ducks are on sale, cash or card, in Ye Olde Albion Pub , Anchor Rowhedge , RCRC Hut & the Rowhedge Social Club. £2 each or 3 for £5. There are 4 prizes this year, £100, £75, £50, & £25 🐥

🐥 We would also like to express our appreciation to Beth Nelson-Hayes, who co-ordinates the ticket sales, checks the ducks and cleans them once they are retrieved from the river. As well as Tim Stokes who has helped Beth in previous years, thank you. 🐥

🚮 Helping us to keep Rowhedge clean & tidy on Regatta day is Cooks Skip Hire Colchester 🚮

🚮 As you can imagine, the amount of rubbish that's created during the Regatta, with everyone enjoying food from the vans or their own picnics, is immense. We employ litter pickers on the day & they put the rubbish in one of Cook's Skips 🚮

⛵️ Dave Boughton, of Elite Marine Surveying ltd, assists on Regatta day, with guiding boats in to moor safely & securely on Lion Quay. His expertise means that those arriving by boat & those visiting on foot, enjoy the Regatta & remain safe & dry - from the river at least. ⛵️

👏 Simon & Dawn have been steadfast sponsors and supporters of Rowhedge Regatta for the past 22yrs. We are truly grateful to them. 👏

👏 This year they.hosted the first 'Rowhedge has Got Talent' night, and it was a great success. Look out for the winner of the evening, Lucy Vaughan, who will be opening the Children's RGT at the Regatta. 👏

Neil Jones & his amazing team at the Anchor Rowhedge have really got behind supporting this year's Regatta.

Not only have they sponsored the Regatta financially, they have hosted 3 fund raising events, 2 music Bingo evenings & a quiz night! We are hugely grateful to the Anchor team and also, to all of you who came along to take part & enjoy yourselves. It has made a huge difference to our finances and we are humbled by your support for this traditional and historic event in our village.
