Bute Wombles We are a small group of residents living in Rothesay, Bute, who are passionate about keeping our Town, Walks and Hilltops clean and tidy.

We aim not only to Keeping Scotland Tidy but also to aid Health and Wellbeing and general mental health. We have been made a Litter Action Hub for Rothesay, Isle of Bute by Keep Scotland Beautiful . what this means is we have been supplied equipment and information to help others in the area keep our Countryside litter free.

The feel good factors for spending a few hours collecting rubbish doesn't only benefit nature and our communities but also a sense of satisfaction from doing a small selfless act for the benefits of all. I know several people with mobility issues would probably love to come out, but feel they are unable but their could be many other ways you can support. Equipment can be supplied by many organised groups.

Litter picking isn’t just good for the environment – it brings people together, gets us out in nature, and is a fantastic way to 💚🌍
