Today is World Homeless Day. Help 4 Homeless Veterans charity celebrates opening our first home we own ourselves in Rotherham this year.

It is now our aim to repeat that sucess by running a second Buy A Brick Campaign to open a second House next in Barnsley.
We receive no MOD funding so it is yet again down to us to make this happen.
Get behind our team
Tom Wood Steve Bentham-Bates Darren Sidebottom Andrew Martin Liz Butcher David Leech Amber Guymer-hosking and all us continue to help us.
Thankyou

On the 10th of October 2026, people around the world will mark World Homeless Day in many varied ways and change the lives of people experiencing homelessness in their local community.

The dreaded parking warden strikes again.
After ticketing the car of a visitor run down a few weeks ago, today our man and a van removing a skip full of rubbish got a ticket for his efforts helping us to make a home fit for homeless veterans.
I hope you get a ticket somewhere soon Traffic Warden.
Have a nice day

It was also a priviledge to welcome a new trustee to our team yesterday.
Ex Light Infantry Soldier more recently previous Mayor of Barnsley David Leech.
With his wealth of Barnsley connections we hope he can help us to encourage locals to donate to our BUY A BRICK BARNSLEY campaign to purchase a house to support homeless veterans in Barnsley following the recent opening of our first home WOOD HOUSE in Rotherham.
We received around £18k from his Mayoral year fundraising work.
Welcome Aboard
