We’ve had some lovely new followers recently, so we thought we’d take a moment to reintroduce ourselves 👋💜.
We’re Crossroads Care – a team of wonderful people working together to make life a little easier for unpaid carers and the people they care for across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster and the wider South Yorkshire region.
We’re employees, volunteers, community staff, supporters and partners – all bringing something different to Crossroads, but with the same goal at heart.
And no two days here are ever quite the same!
One day we might be welcoming people into our Dementia Day Centre, the next we’re running support groups, providing counselling and therapy, offering respite days, helping someone access practical support or simply being there when someone needs to talk.
Because caring for someone can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be difficult, overwhelming and sometimes lonely.
Whatever your caring journey looks like, you shouldn’t have to navigate it alone 💜.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about who we are, what we do and the many different ways we can help.
