A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come and speak with us at the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Hellaby Staff Wellbeing Event ✊

It was great to meet so many UNISON Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Branch members (and new members!) and have some really meaningful conversations about the support available. Events like this are a brilliant reminder of how important it is to look after our wellbeing at work and beyond.

Fantastic to see UNISON Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Branch, UNISON Yorkshire & Humberside and RMBC delegates taking part in Local Government Association Job Evaluation training this week.

They’re building the skills to make sure all council and school support roles are assessed fairly and everyone is treated with the equality they deserve.

UNISON Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Branch Secretary Kerri was proud to attend the public demo today in support of the striking UNISON members at the National Coal Mining Museum for England.

An outstanding turnout, with unions united in support of the Wakefield District Unison members on strike. Dave Pike TUC North East, Yorkshire & Humber and Jon Trickett MP delivered powerful speeches honouring the courage and solidarity of the mining community.
