Our Community Social Garden, will be open this Friday 5th July 10am-2pm, everyone is welcome💚

Activities you can join in with

* Sowing seeds
* Pruning Roses
* Strimming Grass
* Mowing the Lawn
* General weeding
* Harvesting anything that's ready
* Come and loan a book from our library
* If you have little ones you're welcome to use our classroom, we have free supplies for nature inspired crafts 💚
* Come sit enjoy the views have a chat meet new people.

We have a composting toilets onsite and kettle and biscuits so you can make yourself at home with a brewx

Welcome to Common Unity Yorkshire

A new Community Support Service available to the residents of the region.

In recent years, especially in light of some of the events unfolding in the world there has been an increased amount of isolation and separation for many individuals, including our ageing population and those who don’t necessarily fit into societal ideals of what’s considered “normal”.

Lack of connection can be incredibly difficult for some and its testament to the rising rates of mental health imbalances across all age groups and backgrounds within communities, not to mention the difficulty some experience with completing every day tasks and lifestyle activities.

So this new venture ‘Common Unity Yorkshire’ has been set up with the intention of supporting the needs of the entire community, not only in their own personal lives but also in finding opportunities for connection with others in their locality.
Another exciting aspect of this venture is that 20% of the Business’s income will go straight back into local community initiatives. This may include supporting our homeless citizens, or assisting with medical treatment costs and providing experiences for our local kids.

The support available includes, but is not limited to:
- Assistance with personal care
- Companionship, including social activities, nature walks and social engagements.
- General Housekeeping, including gardening and cooking.
- Pet care, including sitting and exercising.
- Shopping and other errands out of the house, including appointments.
- Life admin support, including computer work.
- Singing/Music.
- Lifestyle Advice, Spiritual Guidance & Mentoring
- Meditation & Breathwork.
- Energy work (similar to Reiki)
