❤️ COME AND HELP FRITH SPACE CELEBRATE ! ❤️
On 18th September, Rotherham will be celebrating Rotherham Day — and we want to celebrate our town by creating a RED CHAIN OF POSITIVITY! ❤️
Pop into Frith Space Café and write something positive about Rotherham on a red strip of paper. It could be a person, a place, a memory, something you love, something you’re proud of, or simply something you’d like to see more of.
On Rotherham Day, we’ll display our growing chain in the café and join in as ❤️
Because yes, like every town, Rotherham has its challenges. But if we want our town to thrive, we all have a part to play.

Use the services. Shop locally. Visit our town centre. Support our charities. Celebrate our green spaces. Champion our people. And, most importantly, be part of the positive change we want to see.

We’re already building our chain, with links celebrating:

❤️ Apprenticeships
❤️ Teachers who inspire
But there’s plenty of room for more!

Thank you so much to Sandra, one of our lovely customers, for bringing in this lightbox very kindly donated by her father who is a local watercolourist and who handmade this beautiful item himself!
Once our Workshop room is complete this will be pride of place ready for you to trace from inspiration sheets and create your own watercolour masterpiece!

I hope the start of September and the end of summer has been a smooth transition for everyone! 🍂

My children have all gone back to school happy and excited, I’ve been able to get my autumn clothes back out (my favourite season! 🧡), and I’ve had some lovely conversations with regulars in the café this week. I really do love making those little connections with you all. It can take just a few minutes out of your day to have a small conversation with someone — but you never know how much that small moment might mean. Sometimes, a simple “How are you?” can make someone’s day. ❤️

I wrote this little poem on our café blackboard because I think it sums up what Frith Space is all about.

Enjoying my lunch in Frith Space cafe with a new book I picked up from our Second Chance Hobby Store for just 75p!!
I love a treat for my lunch.. my scone, with butter, jam and cream, with a pot of tea was just £6. YUM!
I always put butter, jam then every last scraping of cream that I can piled on top. There is no other way to eat a scone - I stand by it! =)

Join us for Paint a Canvas (yes it's back!) every Wednesday and Friday throughout September, from 11am–2pm.

✨ No experience needed—simply bring your imagination and create your very own masterpiece!
Make it the perfect cosy-season day with one of our autumnal drinks, add warming pumpkin-spice syrup to any hot drink for just 60p! Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolates are our Barista, Elizabeth's favourite!
And add something tasty from our new menu. Choose from fresh couscous salad bowls or open bagel sandwiches with rocket, tomato and cucumber, topped with your choice of tuna, pesto and feta cheese or honey-roast ham. Yum!

I am celebrating my birthday this year with our last day in Italy!
It has been a wonderful break and holiday with my family.
I've certainly been thinking about Frith Space though and I can't wait to come back on Tuesday for the Coffee and Quiz session!

Our wonderful Story Time is back!
Settle in, get comfortable and enjoy a fun and interactive reading of some favourite children's books. This session is perfect for pre-schoolers, and when our story time is followed by our new, build and imagine session it makes a perfect morning out for young children and their carers.

We also have a new menu with lots of different choices for adults and children alike! Our new pitta pizzas have been a massive hit, a delicious meal for smaller appetites! We also have hummus and dips for a mid morning snack time!

Come along for a hot drink while Violet keeps the little ones entertained with a story and then play with children with our range of toys around our new Hobby Lounge space ❤️🥰
