We’re pleased to announce that the much-loved Dog Show is back again this year as part of Treeton Picnic on the Pitch 2026:

📍 Treeton Cricket and Football Club

This year’s event will be proudly run by Adoptapaws UK Rescue

📍 Dog Show details:

* Registration opens: 12:00pm
* First categories start: 1:00pm
* Finish time (approx.): 4:00pm

* £2 per entry for your first class/category

Dogs like Trinny – an 11-year-old girl who came into our care desperately needing help. She required emergency dental treatment, surgery to repair an umbilical hernia, vaccinations, and so much more. Without rescue, dogs like Trinny simply wouldn’t get the second chance they deserve.

You can be part of their team.

For just £10 a month, you’ll help us provide lifesaving care to animals in need through the Adoptapaws UK Rescue Lottery. Every ticket purchased helps fund veterinary treatment, food, shelter, and the love these animals need while they wait for their forever homes.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended our Afternoon Tea yesterday. Because of your kindness and generosity, we raised an incredible £700 for Adoptapaws.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and the wonderful warmth that comes from people coming together for a cause they care about. Your support means so much to us and will help us continue making a difference to the animals in our care.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without each and every one of you. Thank you for your time, your donations, and for helping to make the day so special.

Please say hello to beautiful Trinny… ❤️🐾

This sweet, gentle girl is nearly 11 years old. For almost all of her life, she has given nothing but unconditional love, loyalty and devotion. She has been a faithful companion, always there with a wagging tail, a cuddle when it was needed, and a heart full of love.

And yet, through absolutely no fault of her own, Trinny found herself unwanted… discarded as though she no longer mattered.

We will never understand how anyone could look into those trusting eyes and walk away.

Thankfully, Trinny is now safe with us. She is being shown the kindness, comfort and tenderness that every animal deserves – especially one who should be spending her golden years knowing only warmth, security and love.

And what a little lady she is.

Trinny is practically perfect in every way. She adores everyone she meets and gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs. She asks for so little – just a gentle hand to stroke her, a cosy lap to curl up on, a soft bed by the fire, and someone to love her as fiercely as she will love them in return.

She deserves a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. A family who will make sure she never again has to wonder if she is wanted.

But before Trinny can begin the next chapter of her life, she needs our help.

This precious girl urgently needs dental treatment to relieve the discomfort she has undoubtedly been living with. She also needs surgery to repair an umbilical hernia, to be spayed, fully vaccinated, and to have a much-needed groom to gently remove her matted fur and help her feel comfortable once again.

The costs are significant, but we simply cannot turn our backs on her.

So today, we are asking from the bottom of our hearts – please help Trinny.

If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, you will be helping to give this beautiful soul the fresh start she so desperately deserves.

If you can’t donate, please don’t scroll past. Sharing Trinny’s story costs nothing, but it could change everything. The more people who see her, the more chance there is that someone who can help will do so… and perhaps her forever family is out there waiting to find her.

After a lifetime of giving love to others, Trinny deserves to know that she hasn’t been forgotten.

Firstly, thank you. Every donation, every purchase, every kind word and every share means more than we could ever express.

At the moment, our charity shop is overflowing with clothing donations, but we are desperately in need of other items, including:

🧸 Household items
🎁 Gift items
🪑 Furniture
🔌 Electrical items (which will all be PAT tested before sale)
♿ Disability equipment such as mobility scooters, wheelchairs and walking aids

Behind every item sold is an animal whose life has been changed forever.

A frightened dog learning to trust again.
A neglected cat finally experiencing warmth and kindness.
An abandoned animal receiving the veterinary care they so desperately need.

Every pound raised gives us the ability to offer understanding, compassion, space, time and patience to those who have known hardship. It gives them hope. It gives them a second chance. Sometimes, it saves a life.
