North Lincolnshire Peer Support 🩷💜

Back in North Lincolnshire today with peers from People focused group continuing our work to strengthen and develop peer support across our communities.

Through collaboration and co-production, we are bringing together lived experience and community voices to shape support that truly meets people's needs.

By working alongside one another, we can create spaces that are meaningful, accessible and person-centred.

By sharing learning, building relationships and listening to the voices of people with lived experience, we can help ensure greater consistency, equality and access to authentic community peer support across all RDASH.

Peer support is about connection, hope, understanding and walking alongside people as they navigate their own journeys.

I'm proud to be part of a team that is committed to making sure everyone has access to the support they deserve, regardless of where they live.

Together, we are helping to create communities where lived experience is valued, recovery is visible and nobody has to face challenges alone.

Working together, co-producing solutions and championing lived experience, we can create lasting change.

Living through my own mental health crisis changed everything for me!

It taught me what it feels like to be vulnerable, to feel lost and to need someone to simply stand beside you without judgement.

That’s why the work we do matters so deeply.
It’s not about diagnoses.
It’s about people, real people. Being recognised, accepted and treated as worthy.

It’s about meeting individuals exactly where they are, seeing their humanity before anything else.

Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and believed in.
Everyone deserves hope and a way forward.
Everyone deserves someone who will hold belief in them until they can see the good in themselves again.

Life is precious, no matter our differences.

Belonging matters.
Connection matters.
Walking side by side matters.

If we can make a meaningful difference to even one person’s life, that’s purpose.
That’s impact.
And nobody should ever have to go through it alone.

We genuinely care and we’re here for people, as they are.
