Another lovely day at EATS Hub and EATS Living Room Café! ☀️

We received a beautiful basket of goodies from the EATS Greenspaces, and Mary worked her magic in the kitchen with a delicious rhubarb crumble cake. We think it might be making an appearance in the Café tomorrow served with custard! 😋

The youngsters took over the Cafe today, bringing plenty of smiles and good vibes. We made sure to take plenty of hydration breaks too — just like the Scottish national team! 😂

There’s been lots of baking despite the heat, and we're working on some exciting new additions to the menu. Just look at those delicious flatbreads or Ham and Peach salad 😋

Oh, and Coffee with a Cop was very popular today too. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat with our friendly community officers. ☕👮

Also Book and Blether was on today!

As always, EATS Hub has been full of activity, conversation and community spirit. 💚

Pop along tomorrow!

Your local Community Policing Team will be at EATS Hub and EATS Living Room Cafe from 10:30am tomorrow.

They'll be on hand to offer advice, answer questions, and chat about any concerns you may have within the community.

A great opportunity to meet your local officers and find out more about the support available. Everyone is welcome! 🚓☕️

Last week we welcomed Fife Gingerbread to EATS Rosyth to share information about the support they offer to lone parents and families across South West Fife.

Fife Gingerbread works to create better todays and brighter tomorrows for lone parents and families, championing positive change and helping families build happy childhoods, confident parents and lasting memories.

Their support includes:
🏠 Home visits
🤝 One-to-one support
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family groups
🌟 Volunteering opportunities
❤️ A whole-family approach

It was great to learn more about the fantastic work they do and the difference they make to families across Fife.

🌿 Our Nourish Together Group had a lovely session last week! 🌿

We enjoyed delicious wraps filled with chicken or halloumi and fresh salad harvested from our EATS Greenspaces, making the most of the produce grown right here at EATS Rosyth. For dessert we enjoyed lovely fruit salad and ice cream followed by refreshing mint tea🍵

Taking time to sit around a table, enjoy good food and good company can make such a difference to our wellbeing and help us feel more connected to our community.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the session so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all again soon! 💚

🌟 Come along to the Hub tomorrow between 2:30pm and 4:30pm and have a browse! You never know what treasures you might find. 🌟
You don’t have to bring clothes to swap, there will be clothes repair corner, recycled crafts and clothes available for donation too.

Did you know that by adopting a pre-loved pair of jeans and a t-shirt instead of buying new, you could save 10,000 litres of water (as well as quite a few pennies!)

Join us at EATS Hub & EATS Living Room Cafe for a climate friendly clothes swap, mini clothes repair café and textile upcycling demos.

Bring along clean, good-quality clothes you no longer wear and swap them for something new-to-you. Alternatively bring clothes that have seen better days and get tips on how to fix them, or if they're too far gone, turn them into something useful or pretty. Give fabrics a second life, help the environment and your local community!

This drop-in event will take place in the EATS Hub on Tuesday 16th June, 2:30-4:30pm and is part of the Fife Climate Festival.
