It was wet outside this week but it didn't stop the Can do crew visiting our clothes bins in Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch to empty them ready for sorting.

Volunteer Driver Wanted!

Do you have some time to spare to volunteer for a local charity?

Do you have a clean driving licence and enjoy driving larger vans? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

We are currently looking for a willing volunteer to drive one of our vehicles, transporting our friendly Can Do team on our weekly Cardboard and Recycling Round every Wednesday around Ross-on-Wye, along with the odd delivery and collection here and there. Every week is very different!

Whether you’re a driver or not, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities here at EnviroAbility. So, if you’re interested in joining our friendly team as a driver, or would simply like to discuss what other opportunities are available, please give Paula or Danny a call at the office on 01989 763388 or email [email protected]

We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Working together,

It can be a little quite sometimes in Brookend street, we often see shoppers stop at the Station street juntion turn around and go back up town, Please dont there's some fantastic independent businesses in Brookend street!

We truly get some fantastic items in at EnviroAbility with a story to tell, some that we would like to get back to the home of where they originated from to continue the story.

Here we have a Diploma hand written that says.

"This Diploma was presented to the memebers of the Glevam brass brand, by the inmates of H.M.P Gloucester as a token of their appreciation to the band, for their continual vists and very fine music.

We thank you very much.

Light Up Linton Is Back :)

We are not only excited that Light up Linton is back but also Thankful we are one of there chosen charity's for 2026.

The event is held on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th 5pm to 8pm with a large display of carved glowing pumpkins, Food available by Hanks’ Meat & Game and the pub The Alma open for drinks.

We will be busy carving Pumpkins on the Monday and Tuesday 26th, 27th for you to enjoy, Parents and careers if you would like to help us please let us know :)

We need your help!

Bob's Bikes, Saturday opening.

Thank you to everyone that came along to Saturdays trial opening, it was nice to see so many people pop along that can not make it during the week. One of the biggest requests we had was Kids bikes something we need more off!

Do you have children's bike hiding away in the shed, Garage or garden that you no longer use ?

If so please consider donating to us here at Bobs bikes so we can do them up and find them a new loving home :)

Our next Saturday opening is this coming Saturday the 12th, we hope to see you there.

Extended opening hours at Bobs Bikes,

We are opening on Saturdays for the next 6 weeks as a trial, We know it can be difficult to get to us during Monday to Friday so thought we would extend to Saturdays as a trial and if this works we will look at opening over more Saturdays or perhaps even every Saturday!

We will be open, 5th - 12th - 19th - 26th & October 3rd , 10th

What do you think, would Saturdays work better for you ?

It may be wet outside but it's dry inside so a perfect time to dry out the sweetcorn ready for planting next year, we've also brought in the sunflower heads to dry too! 🌻🌽

Walking the John Kyrle walk was really intresting, we looking forward to Rolling out the improvements. Thank you The Ross Gazette for Reporting on this wonderful walking route.
