Good morning everyone 💚

Do you have any books that you need to clear out? We at Morrisons support and as people have been generously purchasing them with proceeds being donated we need to refill our shelves.

If you are able to help please bring them into store and ask to donate them, it is really appreciated, and you never know you may see something else you'd love to read 📖.

Hope you all have a lovely day!

Exciting news! 💚

Introducing the Foundation Connecting Communities fund

Since 2015, the Foundation has donated almost £50 million to charities across England, Scotland and Wales, and now we’re going even further with the launch of our new Connecting Communities programme.

Eligible charities can apply for grants of up to £20,000 to improve, maintain and refurbish the spaces at the heart of their communities, including village halls, youth clubs and community centres are encouraged to apply for a share of the £1 million fund. As well as those providing place-based support in the community including warm hubs for the elderly, school PTAs and hospices.

A Quick Update 💚

Hello everyone! We wanted to let our local community know about some exciting improvements happening in store.
From Monday 6th July until Sunday 30th August, we'll be upgrading and replacing our chilled and frozen cabinets. The work will take place one section at a time, so there may be a little disruption while we're making these improvements.
To make sure you can still shop as normal, products will be moved into temporary fridges and freezers as each area is being worked on. There will also be plenty of signage around the store to help you find what you're looking for, and our colleagues will be more than happy to point you in the right direction if you need any assistance.
We know this may cause a little inconvenience, and we'd like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we invest in making your local Morrisons an even better place to shop.
We really appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you in store throughout the refurbishment. 💚

FUNDRAISER

REARRANGED

Unfortunately due to an admin error this will be rearranged to the next may bak holiday weekend.

we will be running a fundraiser in store to support those affected by the fire yesterday in our neighbouring businesses

We will be doing a spinathon from 8-4 outside the store between colleagues for 8 hours straight to raise money to support the hospice and the four fire fighters charity.

I hope everyone is willing to come down and donate to support. We will be outside of the store on the bike collecting between 8am and 4pm

Let’s all come together to support our town and the people affected from the fire.

Thank you for your support
