Could you help shape the future of young people in Romsey?

10th Romsey Scout Group is looking for new Trustees to join our Trustee Board.

This is a vital behind-the-scenes role, helping to ensure that Scouts continues to run safely, effectively, and legally. You'll be part of a supportive team that helps manage the group's finances, oversees our facilities, supports volunteers, and strengthens connections within the local community.

You don't need any previous Trustee experience. Full support and guidance will be provided, and the role is flexible around your availability.

✅ Meet just a handful of times each year
✅ Join a friendly and supportive team

🗓 Meetings generally take place on Wednesday evenings

🎉🥳 Happy Birthday, Scouts! 🥳🎉

Today, everyone at 10th Romsey Scout Group is wishing Scouts everywhere a very Happy Birthday!

It's been 119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp was held on Brownsea Island, Dorset, where the incredible adventure of Scouting began.

Today is also a special opportunity to celebrate the millions of volunteers, past and present, who have dedicated their time to giving young people a place to belong, grow, make lifelong friends, learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy unforgettable adventures.

A huge thank you to all of our leaders, volunteers, supporters, parents, and young people, past and present, for making Scouting so special. Your passion, commitment, and enthusiasm continue to inspire future generations.

Here's to many more years of adventure, friendship, and Skills for Life!

🍨 Dessert has been served... with a side of questionable fashion choices! 😂

At 10th Romsey Cub Camp 2026, our leaders proved that serving dessert is much more efficient when you're dressed as a banana 🍌, Minion 💙, Buzz Lightyear 🚀, Woody 🤠, Scooby-Doo 🐶 and a dinosaur 🦖!

We're still not sure if the Cubs were more excited about pudding or trying to work out what on earth the leaders were wearing! 🤣 One thing's for certain – the smiles, laughter and memories made at camp are sweeter than any dessert.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteer leaders for making camp such a fantastic experience (and for sacrificing your dignity in the name of fun! ❤️).

🏕️🌟 Cub Summer Camp 2026 – What an Adventure! 🌟🏕️

Our Mohican and Sioux Cub Packs from the 10th Romsey Scout Group have now returned home after an incredible four days at Linkenholt.

We hope all of our Cubs had an amazing time, filled with adventure, fun, new experiences, and lasting friendships. From exciting activities and challenges to campfires and teamwork, we hope they have made memories that will stay with them for years to come.

A huge thank you to all of the dedicated leaders who gave up their time to plan, organise, and run this year's camp. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment made this fantastic experience possible for our young people.

Well done to all of our Cubs for embracing every challenge, trying new things, and showing great Scouting spirit throughout the camp. We hope you're all heading home with tired feet, big smiles, and plenty of stories to tell!

🌞🏕 Our Cubs Summer Camp 2026 is underway!

Today, our Mohican and Sioux Cub Packs from the 10th Romsey Scout Group headed off to Linkenholt for four action-packed days of adventure, fun, and unforgettable memories!

Our leaders were busily getting everything ready before welcoming just over 20 Cubs to camp. From exciting activities to campfires, challenges, and new friendships, it's set to be an amazing few days.

A huge thank you to all of the dedicated leaders who are part of the leadership team running this year's camp. Your hard work, planning, and commitment make opportunities like this possible for our young people.

We'd also like to say a big thank you to Personal Best Education for kindly providing us with a van to help transport all of our camp equipment. Your support is greatly appreciated!

We hope our Cubs have an incredible four days of adventure, fun and friendship, and we can't wait to hear all about their camp when they return!

☀️ Summer holidays have arrived at 10th Romsey Scout Group! ☀️

As we wrap up another fantastic term, we'd like to wish all of our amazing young people, parents, leaders, volunteers and supporters a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer holiday! 🌞

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated leaders, volunteers and supporters for everything you do. Your time, commitment and enthusiasm help make 10th Romsey Scout Group such a special place, providing our young people with unforgettable adventures, new skills and lifelong memories. We couldn't do it without you! 💚

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved summer break, spends quality time with family and friends, and creates lots of wonderful memories.

We look forward to welcoming all of our young people back in September for another exciting term of Scouting, packed with fun, adventure and new challenges!
