The Romsey Relay Marathon is an annual event, held on the Broadlands Estate in Romsey that gives teams of up to 10 the opportunity to collectively run a Marathon, so around 2.6miles, for a charity of their choice. The Rotary Club of Romsey envisaged a simple event for a couple of hundred runners spending the best part of a Spring Sunday running jogging or walking on a track in the beautiful settin

g of Broadlands Park. Since 2013 the event has grown from the original 32 teams to an entry of 95 teams in 2017. The event has now become a firm fixture in the Romsey calendar with several thousand spectators turning out to support the teams and enjoy the day.

With a BBQ, children's face painting and other activities on site, the Marathon is not just a race or a fundraising exercise, but a community oriented event.
